"Creole" was adopted from H.O.PE. Safehouse in Racine when she was about eight weeks old. (The photo was taken in 2012). Creole was rescued from the effects of Hurricane Katrina so we gave her a name fitting for a Louisiana gal. We were looking to adopt a shepherd and although her face looks like one, her legs never really grew! Her body looks more like a Corgi! Oh well, so much for adopting a guard dog. She is beautiful and at almost 16, she still enjoys life with her human family and two other rescue dogs.
