Your Pet's Story or Bio
We met Duchess at Elmbrook Humane Society when we went there to adopt another pet after loosing a cat whom we loved dearly.
I am so very glad we adopted her as she’s become an important member of our family.
For example, over the past year I’ve experienced devastating pain from a fractured spine. I’ve moved from a wheelchair to a walker and now a cane. Good news but the pain persists. That’s where Duchess decided to be my nurse and cuddly companion.
Lucky me. She seems to understand when I’m having pain and she is right there by my side offering me friendship and comfort. She likes movies and so we’ll often cuddle together in my bed watching old flicks (her favorites are action adventures).
Duchess is majestic in appearance, really beautiful but she’s also a lover-girl who just wants to be part of our family.
