Your Pet's Story or Bio
Scarlett was rescued from a puppy mill, where she was born into breeding and had litter after litter of pups. When we adopted her, she was afraid of grass, carpet, stairs, loud noises, and sudden movements - and now she is thriving as one of sweetest, kindest, happiest souls! She is an American Cocker Spaniel, adopted through a Midwest-based, breed-specific rescue group. Scarlett loves belly rubs, ear scratches, playing (gently) with toys, and eating her favorite treats of pureed pumpkin, carrot bits, and ice cubes. She is a great older sister to our other pup, Maizie (another rescue pup), and loves meeting new friends at the dog park - canine and human alike! Scarlett never tires of being petted and loved, and we try to make up for the many years she spent not being a pet by showering her with love, patience, and kindness. Scarlett is a joy!
