Pet's Story
Bronx was rescued from the means streets of Austin by Austin Pets Alive at only 4 days old. As a orphan kitten, he was bottle-fed and lovingly cared for by the amazing APA volunteers until he was old enough to be adopted. I chose at the shelter him for his playful & friendly nature. He is my constant companion, always eager to curl up next to me in bed. Having grownup alongside my young daughter, he has endured quite a bit of the typical cat/kid harassment with a gentle patience. (Just don't touch his belly.) Bronx is full of personality and sass. He loves to play fetch with pipe cleaners and ponytail holders. I've had to do more baby-proofing of my home because of this cat than I ever had to do for my human baby. He immediately welcomed by second APA rescue (Rocky) into our home earlier this year, and "the tabby bros" are now inseparable. Many visitors to my home have called Bronx "the coolest cat" and I have to say that I 100% agree.
