My Story
Scarlett was born with a rare condition called CCTGA (Congenitally Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries). We traveled from Texas to Boston Children's to receive care. She had the pulmonary band done in 2022 and the Double Switch procedure in July of 2023. She is the definition of a warrior! She is not only doing better but she is thriving. She is our wild free spirited ball of joy. She went from easily becoming fatigued to constant somersaults and cartwheels around the living room! We are forever grateful from the care we recieve from our Dallas cardiologist and the entire Boston team. The strongest hearts have the most scars!!
