My Story
My name is Finley Kanipe aka Bubba, I was born with a complex heart condition. I was diagnosed before birth with D- TGA, ASD, VSD, Atrioventricular discordance, aortic stenosis, pulmonary stenosis, Wolf Parkinson's White syndrome, heterotaxy syndrome, double outlet right ventricle (DORV), mesocardia, dextrocardia, heart failure systolic and diastolic, my heart is on the right side of my chest and flipped backwards, I breathe at 77 %-82% oxygen room air, I have a clotting disorder,and I had a subgaleal brain bleed at birth. I am currently on palliative care and have some developmental delays. I have had 4 open heart surgeries Glenn,Mustard, Shunt insertion and take down, my body rejected my last surgery and I have a few other conditions including no immune system and I am considered critical but stable. I enjoy playing with my trucks, Mickey Mouse,cooking, planting veggies and flowers, feeding my goats and chickens and making crafts with my MomMom (GMA). I have come a long way God has kept his hands on me and I have a huge great team and an amazing surgeon that keeps a close check on me.
