My Story
Mason was born with HLHS with CoArctation of the Aorta. He had his 1st open heart surgery @ 5 days old (July 2), his 2nd @ 7 months old (Feb 10), and his 3rd @ 4 yrs 9 months (April 1). He had many complications and spent 7 months of his first year of life in the hospital. After numerous complications prior to the age of 5, Mason is now 14 and doing AMAZINGLY well! His heart is stable and for this we are grateful!!
Mason is always the life of the party, he hugs everyone, has never met a stranger and has a smile that will melt your heart!!
Emerson Rose Heart Foundation is dear to our hearts! They have helped us so much by praying for Mason and our family as well as with gas cards and meal vouchers while in the hospital!
