My Story
Jace is an 8 month old heart warrior who was born with right atrial isomerism, with that came a mix of other things including: no spleen, malrotation of the intestines, TAPVR, AVSD, & DORV. He underwent his first OHS at 4 days old and was placed on ECMO following a cardiac arrest the morning after surgery. He spent his first 5 months at MUSC Shawn Jenkins, undergoing two OHS surgeries, failure to thrive, and continuous oxygen requirements. He is now a Glenn awaiting his Fontan.

Jace is curious, independent, energetic and hasn’t skipped a beat with all he has been through. He is always smiling and laughing and loves being around people. He loves animals, water, being outside, and anything that makes him feel like a “grown up”.
