My Story
Kyhros was born with a heart in need,
But God had a plan, a purpose, a seed.
At 20 weeks in utero, the outlook was grim,
But we held onto hope and trusted in Him.

In August, at MUSC, he let out a cry.
No machines, just breath — a miracle nearby.
At 9 months old, he showed his might,
With a biventricular repair and a warrior's fight.

Three procedures in 29 days,
Yet he smiled through it all, lighting our ways.
Now 10 months strong, with joy in his eyes,
He laughs and he shines under bright, open skies.

Though CHD tried to limit his start,
God wrote a story of strength in his heart.
Mended and mighty, resilient and true,
A living reminder of what faith can do. 💙
