Girlfriend Animal Hotrod Lopez was a rescue from Denver, Colorado. She's 9 years old, and 13lbs of kisses and courage. She's a yorkie cross and was too "terrier" to live in an apartment. She now resides in Cuartelez, NM where she helps with irrigating fields and vermin hunting.

Tell us your pet's favorite trick or if there are any unique things that your pet can do?
Girlfriend is a superstar at chasing and retrieving balls. She sits, stays, and kayaks (with a life jacket, of course). She is starting to lose her vision, but that doesn't stop her, because mom buys her balls with bells. Girlfriend doesn't know a stranger, she's feisty, energetic and independent. Terrier all the way!

Why should your pet be crowned the 2025 Pet Pageant Champion?
Girlfriend deserves the crown because she is a great girlfriend to all that know her. She lives up to her name and breed, her personality is like no other. Girlfriend is always honest, appreciative and always willing to help with anxiety, sadness, or finding toys. She loves unconditionally and is easy to talk to. She's always up for an adventure and loves to cuddle. I don't know what I would do without my Girlfriend.
