Your Pet's Story or Bio
I'm Gomez J. Daug. Found wandering behind a Baptist church in Polk County and taken to Animal Control, I was rescued by a tall blonde lady (everyone is tall to me: I'm half Dachshund and half Chihuahua) and taken to a farm. There I was met by a mouthy Canadian who aggressively bathed me for over half an hour, muttering about ticks and fleas. Apparently, the parking lots of Polk County Baptist churches are not pest-free. Who knew? From there, the mouthy Canadian took me home where her niece Emily has become my mama. For now, anyway. I'm heart worm positive, so they'll have me for a while before I can find my proper home. But they love me and spoil me and feed me beef drippings to hide my bony ribs. I like living the rescue life a lot better than I like parking lots. Rescue dogs like me appreciate good humans, and the very best humans are those that rescue dogs.
