What makes your pet special?
We adopted Lula (formerly known as Babe) from Etowah Valley Humane Society almost 6 yrs ago. She is an amazing soul. We take her with us everywhere. Everyone always asks, "What kind of dog is that? She looks so happy." We typically respond with, "We think she is a papillion/poodle mix but, we are not sure. She is a rescue dog and we are so lucky we found each other". She is a social butterfly, making new friends everywhere she goes. She loves taking long walks, hiking, loves to visit the beach in Florida where she enjoys time on the boat and loves to swim and loves hanging out at restaurants with us. The photo submitted was taken last Summer at one of our favorite restaurants in Florida. She will hang out in a chair for hours just taking it all in. We recently adopted another rescue dog named Flynn. Lula immediately welcomed him with open paws and they are the best of friends. She has such a sweet spirit and has the most amazing personality. She had such a rough start to her life and has grown into such an amazing companion. We can not imagine life without her. She is my best friend and my forever shadow. We love her to pieces and we would be so honored to have her as part of the calendar. We hope she is chosen! Thank you for all you do.....fostering and rescuing dogs/cats is so important.
