What makes your pet special?
Miss Via was formerly *Daisy Jean* and lived from May 4 until Nov 21, 2013, at Etowah Valley Humane Society! She physically *loves, hugs, snuggles and lays* on us all day long. She was a stray on the street and was blessed to go to the EVHS shelter and was loved by the EVHS staff and she showers everyone with love, hugs, and kisses. Via is special. A beautiful black lab/border collie 75 lb puppy, somewhere between 18 - 22 months old! She loves snow, long walks on the mountain and toys! From her days of being a stray on the streets she will not back down and if it comes to *fight or flight* she will stand her ground as we found out when walking on the mountain and something we couldn't see in the woods growled at us! She answered it with a growl and loud barking and we didn't hear another peep from whatever it was that growled! Good, no great, dog!!! (We have bear, bobcats, fox, coyote etc. on the mountain). We love her and are so blessed she joined our family. Thank you EVHS for taking care of our Miss Via until we found her that special day in November. She has filled our home with love. As my husband says... *We got dog*! And we adore her! Our special girl, Miss Via!
