Rafiki, originally Grant, was a birthday gift from the Etowah Valley Humane Society. While he really enjoys going to the dog park and chewing his bones, his favorite activities include digging holes under the fence, antagonizing the cats, and teaching his owner how to fetch the ball. He is named Rafiki because of his owner's love of The Lion King, and also because the word means "friend" in Swahili, a word that he embodies perfectly.
