We adopted Gabby Girl in 2020. I was talked into driving my 100% disabled veteran husband and my Autistic son to look at dogs. I didn't want another dog, ever. I thought. You see my mother who had lived with us passed away than two days later her little dog Rosco died. It had been almost 3 years but it felt like yesterday to me. So I drove them to just look not get. Well it was hot that day and I finally went in to tell them to hurry up.
There she was, our eyes literally locked. She never barked or moved, just watched me walk back and forth. They said she was not trained in any way, an outside dog only! They were so wrong. She knew basic commands and was completely housebroken. Fast forward 2 years, she's a wonderful service dog. She travels with us everywhere. We love her very much and wouldn't know how to get by without her.
Looking back it was the best decision I have ever made!!!
