I am an almost 8 yr old female calico and almost died last October. I got so sick I couldn't walk or stand or eat and my mommy had to put me in the litter box because I couldn't walk there. No one new what was wrong with me UNTIL I went to the kitty hospital in ATL where I discovered my blood count totals were 7% when should have been almost 40%! I should not have been alive but I am a fighter and wanted to live. I got a blood transfusion and life saving meds and spent time in the kitty ICU. I got better and have slowly got better the last year. Those doctors did not expect me to be here a year later and look at me now! I'm doing so well!
