On December 4, 2022 I saw a Facebook post about a German Shepherd that was running loose next to the Circle K on Main Street near I-75. There was a trap set for him by Animal Control and several others had tried to secure him to no avail.

I decided to try my luck and two hours and six Little Debbie Christmas Tree cakes later, I earned Buddy's trust enough to get him in my car. He then went through his 5-day stray hold with Bartow Animal Control and came back to our house as a foster for Ruff Dog Rescue. Fast forward to today...Buddy is still with us and he's working hard to overcome some fear reactivity.

Once you've earned his trust, he's the sweetest boy ever. So many have followed his story and pitched in to help with his training and socialization. He's come so far and we are so proud of him!
