Broma was rescued in 2019 with our community’s help after living on his own along HWY 20 for 2 months. After his initial evaluation it was discovered he had heartworm disease which meant all shelters and services recommended putting him down. His big brown eyes and those spots told me he had a long life ahead with a lot of love to give. So without hesitation a community fund was initiated and soon after he began the treatment. Originally planning to only foster him until a good home was found, the time spent with Broma and the bond that was created was inseparable. He is my guardian, my hiking buddy, and master cuddler. His conscientious and gentle soul never stops showing gratitude and we are so blessed to have this handsome boy in our pack.
