We got Buggy from a local rescue. Before the rescue got him he was the longest resident at the shelter and was on the euthanasia list. He has also escaped from the shelter once, showing that he wanted to live. We were told by the rescue that he was skittish around men, but would warm up eventually. My boyfriend and I brought our other dog with us to meet Buggy to make sure everyone got along. He walked right up to us and went straight to my boyfriend like he already knew him. He was already part of the family and we had to bring him home. Buggy is a goofy, cuddly boy. He fits right in with us at the house. And is no longer on death row.
