Pet's Story or Bio
I started fostering Nena in the summer of 2019 because she was terrified of the shelter environment. With patience, time, and lots of treats, she became much more comfortable with people and new experiences. She and my blind dog became very attached to each other, so I decided they needed to stay together and adopted her. She has blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and curious girl who is full of joy. This picture (by Rebecca Hooper) is of her staring at two of her best friends (and mine), who she saw walking towards her from down the street.
