Geoffrey is a Deaf Old English Sheepdog that is 5 years old. When he was 6 months old his original family decided to re-home him and we decided to adopt him. He struggled with training and socialization so we worked hard with many wonderful trainers including the Dog Whisperer and he now knows over 15 signs including his favorite-play dead or “bang!” Geoffrey has a ton of “play drive.” He has become an amazing ball retriever in the water and loves to “rescue” people swimming in the pool. He loves the ocean and rolling around in the sand. You don’t always get the dog you want, you get the dog you need. Geoffrey came into my life after a horrible experience while I was a teacher. Because of everything I’ve learned in order to be a good mom for him, I am an active volunteer with the Humane Society and I am now working as a dog daycare manager at Woofers and I can’t imagine ever doing anything else with my life! I am forever grateful for what he has taught me and all of the love he gives me and my family.
