Fonzi is a rescue from Atlanta Georgia. We found him online and just fell in love with him. Got up the next morning and drove to Atlanta to get him. His name was Triston. I immediately looked at him and said he looks like Fonzi (Henry Winkler) so that was going to be his name. We were told he was a breed of dog I was looking for a Petite Basset Griffon Vendeen. After several years our Vet said he believed Fonzi’s momma stopped by the Dachshund store on the way home. Well 10 years later we find out after a DNA test that he is 76% long haired Dachshund and 24% poodle and 100% Fonzi. Doesn’t matter what breed he is he’s our Bubbie and we wouldn’t change a thing. We love our cool Kid.
