Journey's End received its title from heartwarming memories of my Grandfather. Yearly we would stay at a nearby cottage and journey over to this bridge area since I was a toddler. We would talk, laugh, and fish. In 2016, my beloved Poppy died right before our summer trip. I could not bring myself to our special place that year. His journey had ended with me on this earth but his memory remains. I visited the bridge last summer and I found the bridge extended to the sky, as if reaching out to my Grandfather. The sun was so beautiful and bright this one day. It's rays seemed to touch the bridge perfectly. When I shot the photo, I felt he was at peace. When one journey ends, perhaps another begins.
