Having 3 school aged children, one in elementary, middle and high school, the recent school shootings have created an anxiety within me. If my youngest, pictured here, had my anxiety I imagine him deciding to go to school ready to take care of himself the best way a 9yo can. Childhood innnocence is precious and now so tainted, especially in the eyes of parents.
