This photo was taken while searching, waiting, hoping to see the Northern Lights in Fairfield CT. The stars are prominent due to a process called star stacking which allows for the sky to appear as bright as it looked in real life. 5-8 photos are taken continuously then stacked to show the illumination of the sky.
