Photograph Description
Red tail hawks are a frequent sight from afar in our area of Connecticut. Having 2 small chihuahuas I pay close attention to where they land. This very large hawk first attacked its prey, a squirrel, on a fence post, he then flew away with his catch of the day to a nearby tree stump with a ceramic bird house on top. That is where this photo was taken.
