There are many reasons why us Fairfielders beam with pride when we stop and think (appreciate) all of special parts of our town which make it so unique. We have close communities, a bustling but quaint downtown, and beaches that look and feel as though we are living in a painting, especially at sunset. Penfield Beach does not sleep during the winter months. While we may be dressed just a bit warmer, and crowds now consist of those brave enough to take on the winter chill, the beach still brings us serenity, and a little hope that we might be lucky enough to see one of our own Fairfielders on horseback.
