In 1976, our family built a home in Southport, CT. The stone masons built into the stonework a brick stamped 1776-1976 to commemorate the Nation's Bicentennial. We are still in the same house, 50 years later. My grandma loved the Lily of the Valley growing under the windows, and the plants are still here.
