Photograph DescriptionI captured this photo at a frozen lake known as the “Eye of the Sea” in the High Tatra Mountains. When the lake freezes over in extremely low temperatures, brave visitors can walk across to continue their hike up the mountain. It reminded me of old photos of arctic expeditions through harsh conditions.
