As many people in Fairfield know, the deer can become quite comfortable in our yards. I went to the garden to harvest some parsely that survived the winter. With the camoflauge of wood chips and leaves, I walked very close to the garden gate before I saw the fawn. The fawn stayed safe there for 2 days. We could see the mom in the bushes at times. Glad we could give it a safe place to grow.
