I was walking alone on the beach in Cape Cod, looking for foxes. Just when I’d thought to myself that I wasn’t going to see anything, that’s when I saw a fox at a distance ahead, walking on the sand and staring straight at me! I caught my breath and with my heart racing, reached for my camera, and watched the fox go behind a stack of kayaks.

Seconds later, he popped his head up from behind them with a hotdog squarely in his mouth! I aimed my camera in his direction, and click, click: I got the shot!
