This is Emma she was adopted from Faithful Friends 11 years ago. She recently died suddenly, during a hit-and-run while I was walking her.

Emma came to my home as a quiet, sweet puppy scared when her family had to give her up. I took her just for the weekend so she wouldn’t be left in the shelter. She won my heart and I adopted her.

She’s always been a gentle and sweet dog but also incredibly joyful, spunky, and funny She loved to get really dirty and swim. I would always sing to her a song that reminds me of her personality, ‘this little light of mine, I’m gonna let her shine, this little light of mine I’m gonna let her shine … let her shine, let her light shine, let her shine.’

Emma shined unconditional love, sweetness, and joy with everyone in her life.
