We adopted Miss Kitty from Fancy Cats & Dogs around Thanksgiving in 2018 at an adoption event at a pet store. As soon as I approached her, nonchalantly relaxing in her cage amongst the ruckus, I knew we were on the same wavelength. Every year I am thankful for her entering my life for she has given me so much love and joy. In this photo, she caught me sneaking photos of her on-duty, watching out the window for any intruders. Unsurprised but not particularly displeased, she then carried on to monitor the birds outside.
