🐾 Lights, Camera, Cuteness — Our Annual Calendar Contest Back! 🧡
Is your pet cute, quirky, regal, or downright hilarious?
This is your chance to make them a star — and save lives while you’re at it.
From June 1 through September 15, Fayette Regional Humane Society (FRHS) is holding our 2026 Calendar Photo Contest, and we want your pet in the spotlight! Whether you have a dog, cat, chicken, cow, or couch-loving ferret — all pets are welcome!
Each photo submission costs $10 and helps support animals in need. Submit as many pets as you’d like — every entry supports our rescue efforts and gives homeless pets a chance to be as loved as much as yours.
Once your pet is entered, start spreading the word and collecting votes — each $1 vote moves them closer to fame!
🏆What You Win
🐾 Top 12 Pets: The 12 pets with the most votes will each be featured as a monthly star in our 2026 calendar.
✨ Cover Star: The photo with the most overall votes will also appear on the front cover of the calendar.
🐾 Runner-Up 24: The next 24 top vote-getters will be featured in a smaller spotlight inside the calendar.
NOTE: In the event of a tie, the earlier photo submission will win the spot, so enter early!

Throughout the contest, we’ll be running special vote promotions and matching vote opportunities to give your pet an extra boost. Keep an eye on your email and social media for updates!

This contest isn’t just cute — it’s life-saving. Every entry and every vote directly supports the FRHS’s work to rescue, heal, and rehome abused and neglected animals across Fayette County and beyond. It’s that simple. Your participation saves lives.
📸 Submission Guidelines
Photos must feature pets only — no humans.
High-quality images are encouraged so your pet looks their best in print!
Horizontal photos (landscape orientation) are preferred. Vertical images may be cropped to fit the calendar layout.
One pet per photo, but you're welcome to enter multiple pets in separate submissions.
No graphics or filters. Please avoid frames, text, or social media-style filters — we want to see your pet’s natural charm! But clothing and costumes are encouraged.
Anyone can enter, but the pet(s) must be your own, and you must have the rights to the image.
Once your photo is submitted, it will be publicly viewable for voting.
By submitting, you grant FRHS permission to use your photo(s) for marketing, fundraising, and promotional purposes.
FRHS reserves the right to crop, enhance, or edit images as needed.
Entries that don’t meet content guidelines or are deemed inappropriate or offensive (including text, backgrounds, or attire) may be disqualified at the discretion of FRHS.
All entries are final. No substitutions or refunds will be made once a photo is submitted and payment is processed.
