Cat's Story or Bio
This approximately 2 year old beauty appeared on our front porch in January, 2020, thin beyond belief and doing her best to eat with the (fixed) feral we feed daily. Our feral is not big into sharing so we were able to coax her to the garage. After a couple of days of disappearing then returning, she decided to linger longer and was a little friendly. She’d join my husband in his garage workshop and just hang out after eating. A search had yielded no one missing her and after getting help from the FCPGA, we trapped her then vet visit, spaying and recovery in an extra bedroom followed. AND she became very friendly. I wanted to try to arrange to foster her until she could be adopted out by the FCPGA as we had 2 cats, 2 dogs and usually more than one feral dining daily but my husband said, nope, we’ll adopt her. He’s a fan of Gunsmoke and had already named her after Matt Dillon’s lady friend, Miss Kitty Russell, who’s also a red head. She still enjoys joining him in the garage!
