Cat's Story or Bio
Pumpkin was living as a stray for a couple years before she was brought into the county shelter. She had been at the shelter for two months when we saw her beautiful face online and went to meet her and fell in love and brought her home. About five days after we brought her home she had pulled down a cracked window and jumped out the second story. I posted her missing info on social media and Rachel Pate from FCPGA reached out to me and was so kind and helpful! She provided us with two traps and told us how often and where to set them. We set them religiously twice a day for a month. Pumpkin was missing through the month of Oct in 2020. That month we had a string of back to back hurricane remnants that brought many days of heavy rain and strong winds. .We were starting to lose hope, then a neighbor reached out that she had found her trying to catch birds at a feeder!! I immediately went to get her and took her to the vet for a check up and a flea bath. She was pretty thin but was happy to be dry and warm and has been the most amazing kitty since she’s been back. We love our little Punny Punkin!!!
