How to Enter the Photo Contest:
- $10 donation for each photo entered. Enter as many photos as you like.
- Click on the Participate tab above and follow the directions to upload a photo of your cat.
- Entries must be received by 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
- All eligible photos with a minimum of 5 votes at the end of the contest will be included in the 2023 calendar.
- Votes are $1 each with a minimum donation of $5 (5 votes).
- All photos become the property of the Feral Cat Program of Georgia and may be used for online, print, and marketing purposes.
Eligible Photos:
- Choose a photo with the highest resolution possible, preferably 300 dpi and landscape format as these will look better in the printed calendar. Vertical (portrait) format is also acceptable.
- Photos must either feature cats owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the cat's owner to submit their cat's image. Photos cannot include people. It is OK if the photo includes another pet such as a dog.
- Photos that contains people, or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene, as determined by the FCPGA, will be removed from the Photo Contest. Donations will not be refunded.
Voting:
- Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery on the FCPGA's contest website and be open to voting by the public. Votes are $1 each, with a minimum donation of $5 (5 votes).
- All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.
- Click on the Participate tab above and donate a minimum of $5 for five votes. Your votes can then be cast for any submitted photo in one-vote increments. The voting period will end at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
Calendar Photo Selections:
- The photo with the most votes at the end of the contest period will be featured on the cover of the FCPGA 2023 calendar.
- The 12 runners up will be featured on a full month page in the calendar.
- Winners will be notified via email and asked to provide a high-resolution version of their photo, as well as a short biography of their pet.
General:
- Ending time for the Photo Contest will be determined by the host website's server, which will show prominently on the Photo Contest website as a countdown clock on the last day of the contest.
- All votes and entry fees are donations to the Feral Cat Program of Georgia and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. All donors will receive electronic receipts for their contributions.
- Voting and entry fees are non-refundable.
