Cat's Story or Bio
We adopted 2 kitties from The Feral Cat Program of Georgia at the Cumming GA PetSmart in October of 2022. Oconee the black smoke kittie chose me! my father chose Poker the cute tuxedo cat in the cage next to Oconee. They got along well and we brought them home. We renamed Oconee Spooky as it was Halloween season and his black smoke fur (black appearance with a silver undercoat) gave him what we thought was a spooky appearance. We ended up renaming Poker Oreo a classic name for a tuxedo cat. Today Spooky loves a warm lap, or a bed or couch to settle on. This once in a lifetime photo I got of him yawning made him a favorite of fans of the band Deftones that had a cat yawning on an album cover and a shirt they put out. Spooky and his feline friend Oreo are enjoying being spoiled at their forever home!
