A weak "chirp" from the bushes...
Alone, not weaned and frightened.
The kind family bought him in but quickly realized they were not up to the task and placed a notice. They carefully screened and made the decision with love.
I was the lucky one chosen!
I am alone with 2 shih tzus. The 5 year old remains extremely energetic with a non-stop desire to play. I became ill and found myself living on the couch for months.
A friend sent me the notice and I laughed at the thought of raising a kitten! And, what would Cody's response be? Then I thought.... This baby needs to be hand fed and kept warm. I can do that much.
Today, he keeps me warm! Our home has been filled with purpose, joy and lots of laughter!
As for Cody - he and his brother are inseparable!
