A little about this quilt...
This quilt was made for the 2020 Cherrywood Challenge. The theme is Princess Diana. The challenge was to "create a unique fiber art piece honoring her life." The fabrics used had to be the beautifully hand-dyed shades of pink by the Cherrywood company. It has to be 20" x 20" and embellishments are allowed. I was inspired by Elton John's song, Goodbye England's Rose. Photo entries were due July 1, but because of Covid, the deadline has been extended to December 31, so it will be a while till I know if it's accepted into the traveling show.
