A little about this quilt...
“Call Me Elvira, Mate” is my Australia memory quilt. For 2 1/2 years Annabelle Jankowiak and I planned a quilters’ dream trip to Australia and New Zealand with 34 fellow quilters. When the Corona Virus pandemic scuttled our plans within a month of departure, I joined Gudrun Erla’s Quarantine Quilt Along to make Elvira. The fabric is Coral Reef; the quilting design is toilet paper rolls, a scarcity after the pandemic started.
