A little about me...
6yrs ago I was asked to rescue what was thought to be a couple of possums trapped in a garage. I had just had major surgery & been in the hospital twice. Did I say no, of course not. And surprise! They turned out to be adult cats. Being a retired vet tech I took them in for "the works". I had already named them. Jonathan was named after the Captain of the Blackhawks. The funniest thing was when I opened his mouth to check his teeth I found that he had no canines. He did have 2 extra incisors on the lower jaw, so this was a genetic defect. I said, "What were the odds that I would have named him after a hockey player?" We all had a good laugh. To no one's surprise we wound up keeping both cats. Jonathan has overcome a lot of fears & at night he velcroes himself to me. Although he still doesn't care for Mom doing grooming or medical things to him. He has a flat face, tiny nose & big owl like eyes that would make him an Exotic Shorthair. He loves to carry around certain toys & make noises like they are his babies. He has 2 girlfriends in the house that are also former ferals. We are in love with Jonathan & the feeling is mutual.
