The owner of a 2-year-old female cat attended an appointment at an animal hospital, wanting her to be vaccinated and spayed. The female cat was suspected to be pregnant, and the owner wanted to abort the kittens. Shawnika, a veterinary assistant at the time, admitted the female cat into the hospital, where the veterinarian confirmed the female was pregnant with six kittens. Dylan was one of those kittens. The veterinarian agreed with the owner to keep the female cat at the hospital until the kittens were born and weaned before spaying and vaccinating her. Shawnika helped nurture and monitor the female cat for about two months. Dylan Sylvester Strong was born on September 13th, 2020, and came home with Shawnika eight weeks later. He has been a joyous, comical, affectionate, and witty addition to the household. He has increased the laughter and love in Shawnika's family. Dylan shares the love with his 12-year-old American Staffordshire-Rottweiler Mix big brother, Danjah, who is inseparable alongside. Dylan's birth was undoubtedly a blessing and had a purpose.
