A little about me...
Walnut, formerly known as Andouille, stole our hearts at first sight! However, we had to wait a few extra days before adopting her because she appeared to have a cold. Unfortunately, her condition turned out to be far more complex and uncertain, so the adoption was put on hold. During this time, we visited Walnut every day at Feline Rescue, and as time passed, Walnut’s future health became increasingly uncertain. We were fortunate enough to be her long-term foster home while the team navigated her unique and potentially life-threatening condition. Through expert care and a lot of love, we discovered that this sweet little girl could likely be saved with surgery. After a successful procedure, we officially added her to our family. Walnut is always a part of the action and loves to stay close to her people. Whether she’s intently watching us humans or cuddling up, she’s infinitely curious, ridiculously silly, and consistently the best and most adorable reminder to live in the present moment. We couldn’t love Walnut and her cute face more and are eternally grateful to Feline Rescue for saving her!
