Join our annual fundraiser by showcasing your photogenic pet and helping our rescue cats in need! The proceeds provide the essential medical care for the hundreds of cats and kittens we rescue each year. We love all animals and welcome entries from all pet owners.

Entries Accepted: September 20, 2023
Voting Period: September 20, 2023 – November 24, 2023

• Submit your pet’s photo by registering here. Each entry costs $10, and you can enter as many photos as you like.
• Every $2 donated equals one vote. Cast your votes without any limits.
• The top 13 vote-getters will secure a month in our 13-month calendar, with the leading entry gracing the cover.
  
  

Spread the word! Share your pet’s entry page to everyone you know and ask them to vote by donating. Use the following strategies to boost your chances:

• Share your pet’s page with everyone—via text, email, and social media.
• Remind them that their votes directly help homeless pets. Each vote requires a $2 donation (minimum of $4).
• The more outreach, the higher your chances to secure one of the top spots.
  
  

• All pets are eligible. Your pet doesn’t have to be a FURREVER FRIENDS RESCUE & VOLUNTEERS adoptee to enter. All companion animals can participate in Pet of the Day.
• Photos should be in color, captured in high resolution. An iPhone 6 or newer should suffice.
• Entries, with no humans. If more than one pet is in the photo.
  
  

The overall winner will be featured on our 2024 Calendar's front cover and receive a free 2024 FURREVER FRIENDS RESCUE & VOLUNTEERS Calendar. 

The subsequent 12 entries with the highest votes will each feature on a calendar month and will also receive a 2024 FURREVER FRIENDS RESCUE & VOLUNTEERS Calendar.

Entries (excluding the top 13) that garner 100 votes or more will be featured on the 2024 Honorable Mentions page and will receive a 2024 FURREVER FRIENDS RESCUE & VOLUNTEERS Calendar.

Want to spotlight your cherished pet? All types of pets are welcome! Celebrate special occasions, such as their birthday, adoption anniversary, or a favorite holiday by booking a Pet of the Day slot. Ensure you have a horizontal photo ready. All animal types are welcome, and bookings are accepted from Sept. 20, 2023 to Nov. 24, 2023.
