I love my rescue pet...
This little guy came into our lives as a foster for Kentuckiana Pug Rescue, after he was released from the hospital for Parvo. The minute the vet tech put him in my arms, I knew I was doomed. (as in doomed to 'foster fail') There was a feeling that can't be mistaken for anything but true love.

Ernie arrived just a couple of weeks into the 2020 Pandemic and I was working from home and nobody was going many places. He has been the most joyous company and has brought laughter and love to our household each and every day since that fateful April day in 2020. You simply can't be down in spirit when he is around.

Now that we are out and about a little more, he goes everywhere with us, and people know him by name at our favorite stores.

We humans may rescue dogs, but they rescue us ten times more each and every day.
