I love my rescue pet...
It was a case of love at first sight. I was volunteering at an adoption event, and as soon as I laid eyes on her I knew I had to have her! She went home with me at the end of my shift. Although her name Dolce means sweet, that’s not exactly how I would describe her. She can be a bit of a pill; but I accept her as she is and love her with all my heart. She makes me laugh every day and is by my side every night. And she has protected me (in her mind) from countless FedEx demons, Amazon devils, and UPS killers. And she saves me every day from the deadly postal worker! And she barks at every neighbor, dog, or squirrel in her sight. Yep, she can be a pain in the rear, but I wouldn’t change a thing about her. What can I say? I love my Dolce❣️
