I love my rescue pet...
We adopted Peanut from Indianapolis Animal Care Services back in 2011 when our son Max (shown here) was just a baby. They've grown up together. Peanut was always stationed under Max's high chair to grab scraps of food in mid air as they were thrown down to him. We think that's why they have a special bond to this day - Peanut LOVES food. Most nights he's sleeping in Max's bed and you can always find him there taking afternoon naps when Max is at school.

When Max was too shy to do show & tell in preschool, Peanut came along one day and was his show & tell. When we have music playing, Peanut likes to jump up and put his paws on our chest and dance with us. While Peanut can be a beast at times, he's been a great dog for our family and especially for a young boy to grow up with.
