Why do you love your rescue pet?
I love Daisy so much mainly because of her resilience. Daisy is my first foster and first foster fail. I began fostering Daisy with a rescue after she and her siblings were discovered living in a basement. At just 6 months old, she and her fur brothers and sisters had never been outside, had never smelled fresh air, had never felt the grass between their toes. They had very little to no human interaction. Once she came home with me, it was pretty obvious she was never leaving. She chose me the same way I chose her. Daisy loves with every ounce of her bully self despite her past. Shes the first to give wiggle-butts and kisses when I get home. She's the first to start snoozing on my lap as the evening wears on. Shes the most beautiful girl in the world. She's the reason I am on the animal welfare path I am on.

Daisy has her own trauma from how she used to live. Her world must remain small, and that is okay. She can travel the city on the side of the FIDO vehicle with your vote! I think she'd rather like that.
