Why do you love your rescue pet?
Sabir was horrifically abused by a group of men. They broke all the bones in both front legs, and burned him with a hot pipe, then left him for dead. He endured tremendous pain, and had to undergo numerous orthopedic surgeries to repair both legs.
Yet, he loves people, all people. He makes regular therapy dog visits to a dementia unit. He’s able to calm residents when they’re stressed, and put smiles on their faces. They often forget their family, but always remember him. He shares his love of life with everyone he meets….in those deep brown eyes. Therapy visits give him unbridled joy, he gives everything he has to the friends he makes, and smiles the entire time ❤️. The picture was taken at a therapy visit.
